What better place to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday than Hawaii! We rented a house in Waikola Village along the Kona coast of the big island which was situated near the beautiful Hapuna beach. We spent a lot of time driving around the island visiting water falls, caves, beaches, mountains and even volcanoes! We also got to snorkel off a boat cruise, float above and gaze at manta rays, and play in the ocean with turtoises lounging in the black sand. Last but not least, we celebrated my dad turning 80 years young with all our family members with a party and a nice dinner on the beach. Happy birthday dad!
