Not sure about this restaurant yet. I will have to come back and try some other dishes. The reason I say that is there seems potential to be great, but there is just something off in everything I tried. The xiao long bao was steamed well, juicy inside, good amount of meat inside, but when dipped in their sauce, the flavor totally changed and didn't quite match. The squid ink fried rice was good, but was not able to taste the squid ink as much as I'd like. The beef rib noodle soup was very good, and unique as it came with a large rib instead of your usual cut up meats. But there was nothing particular special with the taste. From the dishes tried however, it definitely is authentic Chinese food, fancied up. All in all, good restaurant with a lot of menu options so I'll be back! Find it at 3400 S Jones Blvd Ste 16.

Very new Korean restaurant serving homemade korean dishes. I really want this place to succeed. The ladies working were all very nice, and really wanted us to enjoy our meals. They brought the food quickly, and tended to our every need. Maybe because it's still so new, but they seem very genuine and mom-like. The food itself was also very delicious. Banchan was good, in fact better than some other places. Many of them were the right sourness and were always refilled when needed. The meat dumplings were great! They are homemade and you can tell they did not skimp on the meat. I was hungry, but feeling for a light noodle soup and found the best choice. Their chicken noodle soup had a very light but thick broth. Everything in the bowl was lightly flavored but paring it in a thick broth made it a very unique, hearty, and filling noodle soup. The spicy beef soup was pretty normal tasting like other restaurants, so nothing too unique about this one. I liked the quantity of all the dishes and the pricing. The only criticism is the decor. I think they are still deciding what to do, but so far it looks more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. If they can match their decor with their tasty dishes and service, this place is a winner. 5600 Spring Mountain Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89146 Las Vegas Blvd. dining is always good and bad. Good in that you know you're going to get very delicious, tasty food, with a great atmosphere. Bad in that you know you have to pay top dollar to get it. Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak, & Stone Crab is a good example. Located at the forum shops lower floor, it's got everything it needs to succeed. Good location, fresh seafood, and Las Vegas style ambiance. But you will easily spend over a hundred if not more. I decided to stick with seafood and save the steak for next time. They start you out with bread and butter per the usual, then brought out the crab cakes, miso glazed sea bass, and 5 large stone crab pinchers. The wait time for the food was very short which is a definite plus. The crab cakes were packed full of chewy crab meat and very filling. Dipping in the house sauce, tasting like a mix of mayo and wasabi, was already very filling. Next was the sea bass which was also very soft and fresh but with a hint of miso flavor. That was paired with only 2 shitake mushrooms and 3 baby bok choys, but found it to be the perfect amount. And finally the stone crab. They crack it for you, you just have to peel the shell away. Very fresh and chewy as well with large pieces of meat that are easily separated from the shell. No real complaints about the food except this ended up around $150. Nice quiet booth with dim lighting and very friendly staff and waiters makes this a very nice place to eat for special occasions. Make a reservation here! A new Japanese restaurant specializing in Udon originating from LA. Not many here in Vegas that can make different styles of udon aside from the usual tempura and nabeyaki. They match there very unique flavors with hand pulled udon to create a mouth watering feast. The dragon udon tastes very different than it looks. It looks to be creamy but in fact has a fiery ramen like flavor. Very hearty and full meal, and one bowl should be able to satisfy any hunger. The broth can be very addicting! The creamy uni udon, although not my favorite, is very tasty. However, there is a LOT and can be very heavy. If you love uni, get a bowl. If not, probably share this with someone. Braised pork was very soft and tasty as well. Mushroom salad was just some warm mushrooms with some salad. I really like the flavors of this restaurant and will definitely come back to try more dishes. You will get extremely full after eating here from all the creamy sauces. Prices are decent, parking is horrendous. In the heart of Chinatown where all the restaurants are. Check it out at 3889 Spring Mountain Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89102
New ramen joint in town and does not disappoint. It has all your standard Tonkotsu, Miso, Shoyu broth, and different rice bowls, so nothing new or fancy. However, it does kick it up a notch by allowing different spiciness to the ramen broth. I like spicy foods in general and I found "hot" to be just perfect. Soup was not too salty, but thick and flavorful. The broth includes an egg, some very soft chashu, ground pork, and some veggies. The ground park was a nice touch as other places do not offer this for free. The noodles itself are handmade but for some reason did not impress me. I expected it to be more chewy but found it to be more spaghetti like. I'd say it's on par with a lot of other ramen joints around town, which isn't bad, but wouldn't choose this one in particular over another. Typical decor inside, aside from a window displaying the noodle man make the noodles. Decent grade overall. Find it here! 7040 S Durango Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89113
This place has a few things going for it. Not too pricey for AYCE ($20), decent banchan and meats, cleanliness inside, waitresses are nice. But it's got some things to work on. Service was a bit slow, the waitress kept forgetting our order, very difficult parking outside, and limited sauces. The sauces I received was also very little and I had to ask for more twice. If you are around this area and happen to find parking and craving brisket, then it's not too bad. The brisket on this grill does make it nice a crispy, which is my preference. Because of this, I still would come back. However, the service brings the score down a bit. Located here 4355 W Spring Mountain Rd # 201, Las Vegas, NV 89102.
Beef noodle soup is one of my favorite meals. It has its origin from Taiwan, and my mother used to make this all the time when I was growing up. This restaurant brings back those old nostalgic memories of my childhood. Noodle Pot makes the best Taiwanese beef noodle soup hands down. Located in Chinatown, the inside is a bit small and noisy, and not much more than just a simple room with tables and chairs and a tv. However, the beef noodles are the best I've had. The noodles are very chewy, the beef is super tender, the broth has an amazing aroma, and top it off with a handful of veggies, this is one of my favorite restaurants here in Las Vegas. The price is about $9 for a large bowl that is sure to fill you up. Lunch time can get busy but it is definitely worth the wait. Because this is the best beef noodle soup I've had, I give it an A+. Soyo Korean restaurant is probably my favorite non-bbq Korean restaurant. There are many dishes here, from fried chicken, to instant ramen, to cheese on bbq chicken. The inside has a very friendly, hip atmosphere, playing k-pop and seating are very comfortable private booths. This is definitely my go to Korean restaurant when I crave some Korean food. They have your traditional dishes and banchan, but is also not afraid to serve new style street foods, all very tasty. They also have outdoor seating if you prefer. Sometimes a bit of a wait, but otherwise, spacious enough where the wait time isn't too long. You can find it here 7775 S Rainbow Blvd # 105, Las Vegas, NV 89139
Archi's Thai Cafe is a family owned, Thai restaurant with 3 locations here in Las Vegas. It is very flavorful, authentic Thai food that doesn't try to do anything new, but what it does do it does perfectly. Very clean and nice decor inside, with ample spacing. There are some healthy menu items, along with spicyness levels 1-10. Portions are large, pricing is fair, and the plating is very appealing. Not much more you can ask for at a Thai restaurant. My go to Thai place whenever I don't feel like trying anything new. I go to this one. Village Square, 9350 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89117
YES! Another chinese hotpot here in Vegas that's GOOD. Not only is it good, they also have individual pots as well so you don't have to share with others. Otherwise, you can go with the traditional large community pot in the middle of the table. You have your typical meats, veggies, seafoods, and sauces along with your spicy and non spicy mongolion flavored broth. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it doesn't need to be. The meat is very tender, veggies very fresh, and broth is on point with its herbal aroma. They do have a unique converyor belt with small dishes to grab, but I didn't get to try it. Reserving seats is recommended as it can be pretty crowded on those cold weekend nights. Pricing is also very reasonable. I was fully satisfied with about $25 worth of dishes. The best part is, you can take the savory broth back home and use it with noodles and other veggies/meats for a quick flavorful meal. Highly recommended as this is one of the few Chinese hotpots available here in Las Vegas. Find it here! 3400 S Jones Blvd #15, Las Vegas, NV 89146
