Taiwan, China's neighboring country, is a small island striving for independence, and is where my parents were born. Being Taiwanese, I visited Taiwan every summer when I was a child to visit my relatives there in the more rural areas. I remember the humidity the most, and all the fun we would have playing games with my cousins. Coming back after years to visit Taipei, the country has upgraded in many ways, and the people still retain a benevolence hard to match in any other country.
You will see the train station, Taipei 101, Shangrila Hotel, Raohe Night Market, Danshui, family and some cousins I haven't seen in a long time!
