Visiting Fenghuang (Phoenix) Ancient City feels like stepping into a living Chinese watercolor painting, tucked along the banks of the Tuojiang River. Wooden stilt houses lean gently over the water, their lanterns glowing gold at night and reflecting all the scattered stars below. As you wander through the narrow cobblestone lanes, you'll pass traditional Miao silver jewelry shops, local snack vendors, and cross over centuries old stone bridges with boatmen gliding by in slender wooden boats. Fenghuang is not a very known "touristy" spot and appreciate that I had the chance to visit this beautiful city! You will see Tuojiang River, Hongqiao, starway hotel, Fenghuang plaza, a photoshoot!

Thank you Melissa and your parents for planning our trip to your hometown Changsha! Changsha is the capital of Hunan province, known for being the hometown city of Mao Zedong. Although this was just a small stop on our way to Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang Ancient Town, there were some great sites to see here! We walked around from the luxurious Grand Hyatt to see the vibrant nightlife, local cuisines, and just enjoyed the stroll along Xiang River. Click here for more videos and pictures!
Known for its dramatic skyline, neon-lit nights, dim sum, and Bruce Lee, Hong Kong is full of energy the moment you arrive. There is a special contrast between old temples tucked between glossy skyscrapers and bustling street markets. Food is central to life here, from humble dim sum teahouses to Michelin-starred restaurants. We spent 4 days here with a jam packed schedule, visiting all the main touristy spots, all of which were well worth it. Hong Kong is an ideal location for street photography, sight-seeing, and delicious food - with a seemingly unlimited amount of things to do. You will see the Avenue of Stars, Central Market, Disneyland, Harbor City, Mong Kok, Ocean Park, Peak Tram, Wing on Travel Cruise on Victoria Harbor, Ngong Ping Cable Car, Tian Tian Buddha, Intercontinental hotel, World's Longest Escalators. For some reason I've always been intrigued about Fiji. I believe it started with the movies "Castaway" and "Truman Show". I also created a whole campaign in Half Life Alyx where your goal is to teleport to Fiji. Well, I finally got the chance so I booked it! I was not disappointed. We stayed at a beautiful traditional bure (bungalow) in Castaway, a private island resort with lush rainforests, white sandy shores, and crystal clear water. Nothing beats waking up and being steps away from the ocean. You will see Castaway Island Resort, Eco-Trax, and Garden of the Sleeping Giant. |
