Las Vegas Blvd. dining is always good and bad. Good in that you know you're going to get very delicious, tasty food, with a great atmosphere. Bad in that you know you have to pay top dollar to get it. Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak, & Stone Crab is a good example. Located at the forum shops lower floor, it's got everything it needs to succeed. Good location, fresh seafood, and Las Vegas style ambiance. But you will easily spend over a hundred if not more. I decided to stick with seafood and save the steak for next time. They start you out with bread and butter per the usual, then brought out the crab cakes, miso glazed sea bass, and 5 large stone crab pinchers. The wait time for the food was very short which is a definite plus. The crab cakes were packed full of chewy crab meat and very filling. Dipping in the house sauce, tasting like a mix of mayo and wasabi, was already very filling. Next was the sea bass which was also very soft and fresh but with a hint of miso flavor. That was paired with only 2 shitake mushrooms and 3 baby bok choys, but found it to be the perfect amount. And finally the stone crab. They crack it for you, you just have to peel the shell away. Very fresh and chewy as well with large pieces of meat that are easily separated from the shell. No real complaints about the food except this ended up around $150. Nice quiet booth with dim lighting and very friendly staff and waiters makes this a very nice place to eat for special occasions. Make a reservation here!
